Fee accounts are payable by the first day of term.  The School reserves the right to charge 5% p.a. over current clearing bank base rate on overdue accounts.

A term's notice is required in writing before the removal of a child from the school.  In the absence of such notice, the following term's fees will be payable in addition to those of the current term.

Notice of one full term must be given to discontinue an optional extra - the School reserves the right to charge in lieu of such notice.

TERMS

A copy of Marlborough House School’s full terms, or ‘conditions of admission’, is available from the school on request.

Admission

Parents seeking a place for their child are asked to complete a Registration Form and pay a non-refundable administrative fee of £50. This fee does not guarantee a place for a child. Early registrations are recommended.

Children will be considered for a place in the order in which their names were registered but priority may be given to siblings.  Subject to this and our own assessment depending upon the child’s age, we do not discriminate unfairly on grounds of sex, race, religion or disability.  Admission will be at the discretion of the Head normally following a satisfactory assessment day spent at the school and satisfactory completion of the school’s admission interviews. A copy of the School’s Admission Policy and Disability Policy is available from the School on request.

Offer of a Place and Deposit

It is a condition of acceptance of a place at Marlborough House that you pay a deposit of £500 which will be part of the school’s general funds. £250 of the deposit will be credited to the first term’s fees and the balance will be refunded (if the offer of the place is withdrawn following the assessment and report from the child's present school) or credited to the parents' account without interest when a child leaves.

Important Note

In line with all other independent schools, one whole term's notice in writing, given to the Headmaster prior to the first day of term, or payment of a full term's fees in lieu of notice, is required prior to removing a child.
